Antoine Semenyo has left the Black Stars camp and returned to London due to personal reasons, missing Ghana’s friendly match against South Korea on Tuesday.
This comes after Semenyo recently captained the Black Stars for the first time in their Kirin Cup match against Japan.
The Bournemouth forward had been instrumental in Ghana’s recent performances, scoring three goals in his 32 appearances for the national team.
His departure is a blow to the team, especially with key players like Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Kudus also absent due to injuries.
With Semenyo’s future linked to several top clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester City, his focus will now shift to his club duties .
