Black Stars coach Otto Addo has heaped praise on Sudan’s trainer, Kwesi Appiah, ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier next week.
The West African giants will host Sudan on October 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium, before traveling to Libya for the second leg on October 15.
Appiah has previously coached the Black Stars in two stints, including leading the national team to the 2014 World Cup.
Ahead of the clash, Addo expressed his admiration for the experienced coach.
“I have big respect for Kwesi Appiah for what he has achieved as a player and also as a coach for Ghana and I am looking forward to this game,” he said during the announcement of his squad for the matches next week.
Ghana lost their opening game against Angola in Kumasi before settling for a point against Niger in their second Group F match.
