Midfielder Kudus Mohammed, goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott, and six other players have reported for the Black Stars’ first training session ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
The session took place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, November 11, at 17:00 GMT.
The early arrivals include Nations FC defender Razak Simpson, Isaac Afful from FC Samartex, Asante Kotoko’s Emmanuel Antwi, Kudus Mohammed, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Joseph Wollacott, and Osman Bukari from Austin FC in the USA.
The technical team expects the remaining players to join by late Monday and Tuesday, with Jordan Ayew, Michael Baidoo, and Terry Yegbe among those anticipated.
Ghana will play Angola at Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda on November 15 and then host Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 18.
To qualify for the tournament in Morocco, Ghana must win both games and hope Sudan drops all points in their matches against Niger and Angola in Group F.
