Arrived in the summer of 2021, Florian Thauvin is already leaving the Tigers. His Mexican adventure only lasted a year and a half and the 2018 world champion would certainly have preferred to have a career like that of André-Pierre Gignac. But due to a regulation limiting foreign players within the Mexican club, the Tigres terminated the contract of Florian Thauvin. Announced to OM, the latter could find his former club freely and for free.
In total, Florian Thauvin will have played 35 games and scored eight small goals with the Tigers. His adventure had started badly with an expulsion from his first match. Not the best way to create a good relationship with his supporters.
