On Thursday night, the Black Stars found themselves in a 2-2 draw against Egypt during their second group-stage match.
The clash took place at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, where Ghana faced off against the formidable record champions of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Mohammed Kudus, who made a comeback to the starting lineup after missing the opening match against Cape Verde, showcased an impressive AFCON debut by scoring a brace.
Despite Kudus’ efforts, the match ended in a stalemate as goals from Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Mohamed levelled the playing field.

After two games, Ghana currently occupies the bottom spot in Group B. Looking ahead to their final group-stage encounter, the Black Stars must secure a victory against Mozambique.
Additionally, they will be reliant on a positive outcome in the other match between Egypt and Cape Verde.
The crucial match for the Black Stars against the Os Mambas is scheduled for Monday, January 22, at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium.
