2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 32 Match Preview – Medeama SC v Heart of Lions

In a highly competitive clash on Sunday, Medeama and Heart of Lions will lock horns at the Akoon Community Park in matchday 32 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Both teams are yet to suffer a defeat in their last three games, having recorded three straight victories in the domestic top-flight.

Whiles the Yellow and Mauve has one defeat in their last five games, Lions remains undefeated in their last five games, winning four and drawing just one across the period as they seek to survive the drop at the end of the campaign.

The defending league champions presently found themselves in the third position with 49 points, six points adrift of log leaders Samartex, who are just a win away from clinching the 2023/24 Premier League title.

Medeama are aiming to finish the season on a high and will approach the game with all seriousness in order to secure maximum points in the game.

Heart of Lions, on the other hand, are on a rescue mission to avoid relegation at the end of the Premier League campaign.

The Kpando-based club, who are unbeaten in their last five games are determined to maintain their fine form in the domestic top-flight.

Last Sunday, they secured an all-important 2-0 win over Samartex, delaying their chances of clinching the Ghana Premier League title.

The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw. However, both teams will throw in their arsenals in a bid to snatch victory in the crucial game on Sunday.
