2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 17 Match Preview – Bibiani Gold Stars v Legon Cities

Bibiani Goldstars will be hoping to end the first round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season with victory at home against Legon Cities, who are currently on top form.

The miners will play host to the Royals at the Duns Park in the week 17 of the Ghanaian top-flight and are eager to secure victory to return to winning ways.

Goldstars succumbed to a narrow defeat in their previous game against Medeama and are yearning for maximum points in the final match of the first round of the league.

Coach Frimpong Manso and his charges have managed just a win in their last five games, losing three and drawing one in the process. They will count on experienced defender Vincent Atingah, who marked his debut against Medeama in their last game.

Meanwhile, Legon Cities have been in top form, winning their last four games in the domestic top-flight. Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin sides look to extend their unbeaten run in the top-flight on Saturday.

Both teams know exactly what’s at stake and must come up with a strategy that can yield a positive result.

Bibiani Goldstars are 14th on the Ghana Premier League table with 15 points whiles Legon Cities occupy 8th spot with 24 points after 16 games into the campaign.
