Champions Medeama was held by Bofoakwa Tano to a thrilling goalless draw on Saturday afternoon at the Akoon Park.
This match week 14 encounter was an outstanding game due to Medeama’s CAF Champions League engagements.
The away side battled hard with the Champions for every ball in the early stages of the game.
Medeama gradually got control of the game passing the ball very well in midfield. The Yellow and Mauve however couldn’t break down Bofoakwa Tano’s back line.
Both teams kept on trying to break each other down but all efforts on goal went wide.
After halftime, Bofoakwa Tano came out with more energy but they still remained solid at the back.
Medeama on the other hand made some tactical changes and put pressure on the away side.
Just like the first half, all efforts on goal went wide off-target. Referee Nyaaba blew his whistle to end the game.
