President of the Republic Of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo paid a visit to the team Hotel this morning ahead of their opening game of the 2022 World Cup later today.
Akufo-Addo motivated the technical team and the playing body before the much anticipated Group H opener.
The Black Stars will lock horns with Portugal at 4pm, at Stadium 974 in the capital city of Doha.
Ghana qualified for their fourth World Cup after topping their qualifying group, before winning on away goals in a 1-1 aggregate draw over a two-legged play-off with Nigeria.
Their best finish came in 2010 when they reached the Quarter Finals, with their last appearance coming in 2014.
