Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has set sights on churning out impressive performances for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The 22-year-old will be tasting the global showpiece for the very first time in his football career.
Ghana make a return to the tournament after missing out on the 2018 edition in Russia and have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
“I look up to myself for the World Cup. I am always my biggest fan,” he told TV3.
“Regardless of whoever we play and the result, I want fans to see the passion and the fighting spirit that I put in every game because I feel we can have bad days but our energy, determination and motivation should always be there.”
Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.
Black Stars will play Switzerland in an International friendly on November 17, before travelling to Qatar for the World Cup.
