Former Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer Frederick Moore has labelled Ghana’s group at the 2022 FIFA World Cup as the “group of death.”
The four-time African champions are drawn in group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
Ghana is making her fourth appearances at the FIFA World Cup which comes off later this year in Qatar.
In an exclusive interview with kickoffghana.com, Mr Frederick said, “Ghana’s World cup group with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea, we are unfortunately in a group of death. No African country has come out of a group of death” he stated.
Ghana face Portugal on November 24 in their opener at the global tournament.
