2022/23 Ghana Premier League: Week 13 Match Report – Kotoku Royals 0-2 Great Olympics

Kotoku Royals were unable to home the home advantage counter after suffering a defeat against Great Olympics in matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Oda-based club have been in dismal form, having won just a game in their last five games in the domestic top-flight.

Today, Kotoku Royals hoped for a win but Yaw Preko’s outfit proved to be the stronger, inflicting a 2-0 win over the home team.

The visitors shot into the lead in the 29th minute mark through Samuel Abbey-Ashie and held onto the lead for recess.

After the break, the Dade boys added the second goal of the match to make 2-0 through Aryeetey Ayikwei who scored in the 79th minute.

The win sends Great Olympics to the 7th position with 19 points.

Meanwhile, Kotoku Royals are still in the relegation drop. They sit 18th position with 7 points after 13 matches into the campaign.
