2017 AFCON qualifier: Rwanda caretaker coach Mulisa invites four new players for Ghana clash

Interim Rwanda head coach Jimmy Mulisa has handed call-ups to four player to increase his squad size to 30 as they prepare to face Ghana next Saturday in the final 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The quartet includes APR duo Innocent Habyarimana (left winger) and Fiston Nkizingabo (attacking midfielder), AS Kigali centre back Soter Kayumba and Police FC goalkeeper Marcel Nzarora.

Mulisa defended his latest additions by saying: “All of them are good players and we hope they can boost our preparations and we can probably use them for the game.”

The Amavubi are camping at the La Palisse Hotel in Nyandungu.

They started training on Wednesday at Kigali Regional Stadium in Nyamirambo

Meanwhile, Tanzania based-duo of Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza (Azam FC) and skipper Haruna Niyonzima (Yanga) as well as Kenya’s Gor Mahia striker Jacques Tuyisenge will join their teammates on Saturday.
