Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito says the Porcupine Warriors could receive a timely lift ahead of Sunday’s visit to Hohoe United, with two key players nearing a return.
Zito revealed that Walid Neymar Fuseini and Seth Kwadwo are likely to rejoin the squad for the trip, easing the injury burden that has hampered the team throughout the campaign.
“Most likely we will get Neymar and Seth to join us. Last week we had Philip, and we might have Neymar and Seth also joining him,” Zito told Kotoko TV.
Kotoko have had a mixed run in recent weeks three draws, one win and one defeat in their last five matches — with fitness issues limiting their consistency.
The Reds sit 5th on the table with 21 points after 12 games and will be hoping the expected returns help sharpen their push as they battle Hohoe United at the Hohoe Sports Stadium on Sunday.
