Manchester United youngster Zidane Iqbal has penned a new long-term deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2025.

Iqbal made his professional debut in the Champions League during a 1-1 draw against Young Boys in December, with the player brought on in the 89th minute alongside fellow academy graduate Charlie Savage.

A statement from the club noted: “Manchester United is delighted to announce that Zidane Iqbal has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

“Iqbal has agreed on a new deal that will keep him at United until at least June 2025, with the option to extend for a further year. He will be looking to hone his talents behind the scenes and maintain his development at the club in the coming months and years.”
