Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo is refusing to get carried away following a 1-0 victory over Bechem United on Matchday 19 of the betPawa Premier League.
Enock Morrison scored the only goal of the game in the 21st minute to keep their home record intact.
The win sees the Porcupine Warriors move up to second in the League standings with 31 points – five points behind Aduana FC who were held by King Faisal.
“Yes we had the win but there is still work to do. We prepare very very well for this match and we said no we are going to be determine and play this game and win,” Zerbo said after the game.
“Though they have done well we lost two points away against Nsoatreman. So we told you that this very match we need to work hard and win this very match and that is what has happened,”
Asante Kotoko will travel to Accra next where they face sworn-rivals Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash on Sunday.
