Valencia coach Gennaro Gattuso has revealed that Yunus Musah finished Thursday’s training session with discomfort and went straight to undergo medical tests.
Speaking ahead of Valencia’s game against Celta Vigo Gattuso said:
“He had a little discomfort. It’s not a big thing, but today he hasn’t trained. I’ll talk to the doctor later but on a clinical level he has a small injury. No I know if he will be in the game, but today he has not trained with us,”
He also added that Yunus Musah will not travel to play for the US if he finally has an injury.
“I like it when players from my team go to the national team because they are playing more. We have five players who are going at the moment because Cavani is not going. He has been talking to the coach. Also Musah if it is confirmed that he has an injury,”
