Youngster Gyasi confident of AZ Alkmaar first team action

Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Raymond Gyasi is confident of gatecrashing the AZ Alkmaar senior team squad as the season progress.

The 19-year-old who was voted the best young player at Alkmaar last season has not made the senior team squad since the start of the season despite impressing at pre-season.

Gyasi has been limited to appearances for the Jong Twente side where he has helped them claim victories in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.

After playing four times for the main team last season, Gyasi remains confident of improving his season’s stats.

“The season just started and I know that I will get my minutes though I’m a little bit disappointed,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
