Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku could earn more playing time at Sporting Lisbon following his explosive display in Ghana’s win over Nicaragua.
The former Ghana U-20 scored his first goal for Ghana to secure a 1-0 win for the Black Stars against Nicaragua in an international friendly played on Tuesday evening in Lorca, Spain.
Issahaku’s exploits during the international break could convince Sporting Lisbon boss Rúben Amorim to hand him more minutes.
The Ghana international has been struggling for playing in the ongoing campaign, featuring just three time for a combined 22 minutes for the senior team.
He also have one appearance for the second team of the greens and whites (69 minutes).
