Youngster Daniel Owusu has joined Austrian side Vienna FC on loan from first division champions Red Bull Salzburg.
The Ghanaian will spend the 2022/23 season in the second division.
“Daniel Owusu moves from Salzburg to Vienna for one season and signs a loan contract with First Vienna FC 1894,” Salzburg confirmed.
In February 2021, the 19-year-old offensive player arrived in Salzburg. He then spent a season on loan with SV Horn, appearing in 10 games.
Last season, Owusu played for FC Liefering (Salzburg’s youth team). He appeared in 11 games and had two goals and two assists.
Owusu also appeared in five UEFA Youth League games for FC Red Bull Salzburg, scoring one goal and assisting on one.
The 19-year-old winger is a graduate of the West African Football Academy (WAFA) in Ghana.
