Manchester United star, Bruno Fernandes has described teammate Kobbie Mainoo’s senior England national team call-up as a well-deserved one.
The young sensation earned his maiden call-up to join the Three Lions squad on Tuesday, March 19.
This was after he had been invited to the England U21 national team camp for upcoming assignments.
Reacting to the call-up from England manager Gareth Southgate for Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes said, “Well deserved kid ❤️ @kobbie.”
Kobbie Mainoo will hope to impress England boss Gareth Southgate during the March international break to stand the chance of making the final Three Lions squad for this year’s European Championship.
In the March international break, England is scheduled to play two games.
The Three Lions will face off with Brazil on March 23 before taking on Belgium on March 26.
