Ghanaian midfielder Yaw Yeboah found the net for the first time in Los Angeles FC colours, capping off a commanding 4-0 victory at BMO Stadium in the Major League Soccer.
The 26-year-old came off the bench to replace Frankie Amaya and made an instant impact, linking up brilliantly with new teammate Olivier Giroud before firing home LAFC’s fourth goal of the night.
Speaking after the match, Yeboah shared his delight: “The team has been performing well lately, and heading into this match, we were confident. There were so many chances created, so I just stayed ready. When my moment came, I took it.”
The goal was the icing on the cake for LAFC, who had earlier taken the lead through Cengiz Ünder in the first half. Jeremy Ebobisse and Denis Bouanga added to the tally before Yeboah’s late strike sealed the emphatic win.
Since joining from Columbus Crew ahead of the 2025 season, Yeboah has made seven appearances for the Western Conference side, gradually finding his rhythm in Steve Cherundolo’s setup.
