Ghana head coach, Otto Addo has indicated that his team will be taking it one game at a time at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Following a final pre-world cup friendly win against Switzerland on Thursday, the Black Stars are close to being ready for the start of the mundial.

Speaking after the win against the Swiss yesterday, Coach Otto Addo indicated that he wants his team to turn attention to the opening Group H match of the world cup against Portugal.

Although the gaffer says he is looking forward to facing South Korea, he adds that the focus must be on Portugal for now.

“It’s actually, now we did some preparation before, but we have to focus on Portugal, with all due respect to Korea and I am looking forward to see my old friend Son. I was his coach at Hamburg when he was U-19 so I am happy to see him again and it’s a different approach but we have to focus on the next match,” Coach Otto Addo explained.

The Ghana coach added, “The next match is Portugal, with all due respect to Korea but we have to look at Portugal and concentrate on them and then we take one step at a time.”

The Black Stars will depart Abu Dhabi later today to Qatar to await the start of the world cup on Sunday, November 20.
