The head coach of the France national team, Didier Deschamps has expressed optimism about the quality of his squad ahead of the clash against Morocco on Wednesday afternoon.
The gaffer will be in the dugout today when Les Bleus take on the Atlas Lions to fight for a place in the finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup currently ongoing in Qatar.
Speaking ahead of the game, Coach Didier Deschamps justified his player selection and stressed that he is confident players he will select for the match will get the job done.
“I am not surprised by what the French national team offers. I chose the players based on their capabilities and performance in the World Cup. There are some players who do not have experience at the international level, and the World Cup is an important test of their capabilities, in addition to the presence of elements of experience,” the coach said while adding that France will be aiming for the important win.
That crucial semi-final match between France and Morocco is scheduled to kick off at 19:00gmt at the Education City Stadium later tonight.
