Record world champions, Brazil kicked off their campaign at the 2022 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 win against Serbia on Thursday, November 24.
The Selecao today played the first Group G match against the European opponent.
In a game where Brazil was tagged as the favourites, they lived up to the hype and dominated play for most parts of the game.
While the South American national team would not find the back of the net in the first half, the team made amends after recess.
It was all thanks to impressive team play and two top finishes from Tottenham Hotspur attacker Richarlison.
First, the former Everton poster boy equalised in the 62nd minute to give Brazil the lead before scoring a goal of the tournament contender in the 73rd minute to seal a delightful 2-0 win for Brazil against Serbia.
