Former English International has disagreed with referees’ decision to Portugal a penalty against Ghana in their FIFA World Cup group H opener against Ghana.
Portugal emerged victors over the Black Stars in a five-goal thriller at the Stadium 974 in Doha.
Their victory included Ronaldo scoring from twelve yards after the referee controversially pointed to the spot following a challenge by Mohammed Salisu.
Bent believes that the referee had it wrong for awarding Ronaldo the penalty.
Ghana come up against South Korea in their next match while Portugal face Uruguay.
