Former Black Stars Coach Otto Addo has call on Ghanaians to have patience on this current Black Stars squad after painful World Cup exit.

Ghana was eliminated from the tournament after failing to beat Uruguay in the last group H game at the Janoub Stadium Al Walkrah in Qatar.

Coach Otto Addo says the ‘young’ team are capable of winning subsequent major tournaments but patience is required.

“I said we all have to change our mentality and support a little bit more especially for a young team like this which can surely win the AFCON but sometimes things take time to integrate, to develop,” Coach Otto Addo told the media.

“I would like you to let them work in peace, grow in peace and develop in peace.”

Ghana won only one match against South Korea Republic and was defeated by Portugal and Uruguay in group H.

The Black Stars had only three points and couldn’t progress to the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
