Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has set sights on winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to the Manchester United player, his outfit have what it’s takes to win the tournament.
Portugal are drawn in group H alongside with Ghana, South Korea and Uruguay
Ahead of the their first game on Thursday against Ghana, Ronaldo opined that, “I believe our national team has tremendous potential to win the World Cup. We will see. I believe we can. I have that hope, that belief.”
“We must start well, gain some confidence and we will go from there.” he said
The 37-year-old missed his side’s 4-0 win over Nigeria in a pre-World Cup friendly.
