Coach Otto Addo says Baba Abdul Rahman ‘defended so well’ in Ghana’s first group H game against Portugal in the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars were defeated 3-2 by Portugal on Thursday at the stadium 974 in Doha.

The loss has partly been attributed to Rahman’s mistimed interception of a through which eventually led to the second goal.

“Baba Rahman defended so well. Had some good passes upfront. The problem was his position and yes, I admit that he was unlucky and made a mistake but he played so well.” coach Otto Addo told the media after the game.

Ghana will play South Korea Republic and Uruguay in their second and last group H games on November 28 and December 2 respectively.
