Ernest Nuamah has bagged his first goal for the Black Stars against Central African Republic on Thursday evening in a final African Cup of nations qualifier.
Ghana defeated Wild Beasts 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to book a spot at next year’s AFCON in Ivory Coast.
The 19-year-old came onto the field in the 63rd minute, to replaced Osman Bukari and he showcased his prowess, capitalizing on a precise pass from fellow substitute Antoine Semenyo to strike from close range.
His goal ultimately secured a victory for Ghana after Mohammed Kudus had levelled the scoreline.
The win maintains Ghana’s unbeaten record in the group stages.
