New Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon believes his years of dedication and sacrifice have equipped him for the demands of leading the club.
Dormon, who first joined the Still Believe lads in 2013, has been instrumental in their rise through the ranks ; guiding them from the Division Two League to the second tier in 2015/16, and later working under CK Akonnor to secure Ghana Premier League promotion.
Since then, he has served as assistant coach to several tacticians, including Vladislav Virić, Ignatius Osei-Fosu, and most recently Karim Zito, under whom Dreams FC reached the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup semifinals.
Appointed head coach in July 2025, Dormon says the timing feels right.
“I think that the sacrifices I have endured have prepared me for this moment, and I’m ready for this challenge,” he told Joy Sports.
His first mission will be to build on the club’s continental success and make a strong push in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
