Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have confirmed Winfred Dormon as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The club made the announcement on their official social media platforms, stating that Dormon’s long-standing connection with the ‘Still Believe’ side makes him the ideal candidate to take charge at this crucial phase.
Dormon has been with Dreams FC for over a decade, serving in multiple technical roles and gaining valuable experience under coaches such as Karim Zito, Vladislav Viric, and Ignatius Osei Fosu. His tactical growth and deep understanding of the club’s philosophy have been cited as key reasons behind his appointment.
He famously guided the club to promotion by winning the Access Bank Division One League and also clinched the 2018 GHALCA Top 8 tournament.
Dormon returned as interim coach last season following the departure of Karim Zito and successfully led the team through the remainder of the campaign.
His efforts earned him the full-time role as the club prepares for the upcoming season.
He is expected to oversee the club’s preseason activities, whip the squad into shape, and integrate new signings as Dreams FC aim for a strong campaign in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
