Win against Hearts of Oak will lift us up to fight for GPL title – Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo

The Porcupine Warriors are currently 7th on the Ghana Premier League table with 22 points after 14 games into the campaign. They continued their resurgence with a 3-2 away win over Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Kotoko have now extended their winning streak to four games after triumphing over Hearts of Oak.

“We’ve been performing and we are keeping the consistency and I will like to thank the fans for their support us, we are grateful,” he said after the game.

“Gone are the days. Football is dynamic and it keeps changing,” he added.

“It’s all about consistency. You can see we have been playing the same thing for some time now and we are getting the results. I think this will lift us up for the title.”

Uganda international, who has now rediscovered his form bagged a brace. Before this, Isaac Oppong had scored the equalizer for the Porcupine Warriors.

Linda Mtange opened the scoring for the Phobians before Martin Karikari reduced the deficit in the final minute.
