Paul Pogba has announced he will be leaving Manchester United after six years of service to the Premier League giants, bringing in just a League Cup and a Europa League. He’ll be leaving on a free, and we take a look at where he’s likely off next.
Juventus
It would be quite extraordinary to see Pogba join Juventus, as it wouldn’t just be the second time he’s done so, but the second time after leaving United on a free.

Paulo Dybala is leaving Juventus, however, and there is now a gaping hole to be filled in the attacking midfield options. No doubt the club would want Pogba back after he helped them win four Serie A titles in a row in four years, while also picking up two Coppa Italia titles.
The ex-Juventus star would obviously be returning to a place close to his heart as well, but with the Old Lady now going two years without the title after losing out to both Milan sides recently, Pogba could be convinced to go elsewhere.
PSG
Pogba has been linked to Paris Saint-Germain for years with the obvious French connection, but there’s arguably never been a better time for him to join. Lionel Messi will be entering his second year hoping to improve on the below-par first, while Neymar remains, and Kylian Mbappe has just committed to the club for three more years.
Titles are almost guaranteed, he’ll be playing with greats, and he’d be yet another addition to their attempts at building an unrivalled Champions League-winning arsenal.
Real Madrid
There’s never been a need to convince someone to join Real Madrid, and after they lifted the Champions League once more and conquered La Liga yet again, Pogba would be joining a team mixed of youth and experience that has won almost everything recently.
No doubt fellow Frenchman like Karim Benzema are dropping him a text trying to sway him, and Real would also have no troubles in matching his wages – that’s something few clubs can do right now.
Barcelona
In complete contrast to their arch rivals, Real, Barcelona want players on a free.
They simply cannot afford anybody, and they continue to want to work players off their wage bill too, with reports growing each week on Frenkie de Jong potentially heading to United in replace of Pogba.
However, the Spanish giants have managed to build an almighty setup under Xavi with a variety of free transfers and a few paid ones. Pogba is going to be completely free, but his wage bill is clearly the issue here.
