Tottenham to win

Fulham welcome Tottenham to Craven Cottage in a fixture that promises plenty of drama. Both sides have shown their attacking prowess throughout the season, but history suggests Spurs could come away with maximum points in this clash. The Cottagers have really struggled against their fellow Londoners, having lost 14 of their last 16 Premier League matches against Tottenham. The visitors winning run includes seven consecutive victories at Craven Cottage and they head into the game off the back of a convincing 4-0 win at Villa Park. Fulham’s winning run in the league was swiftly ended by Wolves last weekend and I’m backing Spurs to edge this one in West London.

Son Heung-Min to score anytime

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min has not only taken over captaincy duties from Harry Kane but has also taken on the responsibility of delivering more in front of goal. The Spurs forward has been involved in 22 goals in his last 21 Premier League games, with 14 goals and eight assists in that period. The South Korean is a key component of Ange’s squad and has formed a formidable attacking partnership with James Maddison. Son will look to add his goal tally, which currently sees him fifth in the Golden Boot charts.

Bernd Leno to make 4+ saves

Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno has impressed since his move to the club from Tottenham’s bitter rival Arsenal. The shot stopper has made over 100 saves throughout the campaign so far and is ultra reliable between the posts for Marco Silva’s side. With Ange’s attacking mentality, combined with the class of forwards Son and Maddison, expect the Fulham goal to be under threat throughout this one.

Rodrigo Muniz to have one of more shots on target

The Cottagers turned to the transfer window in January with the signing of Armando Broja as they continued to search for an Alexsandar Mitrovic replacement. However, Silva may already have what he’s looking for within his own ranks, with the move igniting Rodrigo Muniz’s Fulham career. The Brazilian striker has been involved in six goals in his last six games and will look to test this Tottenham defence. Super Sub applies to this selection, with Armando Broja waiting in the wings if needed.

Fulham over 2.5 cards

With Tottenham likely to attack from the front, Fulham will be under pressure to try and keep them at bay. With Maddison breaking forward from midfield to supply the Tottenham forward line, it’ll be up to the tough-tackling pair of Joao Palhinha and Harrison Reed to keep them in them in check. Palhinha tops the charts for yellow cards in the entire Premier League and Fulham are eighth among the highest receivers of yellow cards in general. I’m expecting things to get competitive under the lights at Craven Cottage on Saturday evening.
