West Ham United’s assistant manager, Billy McKinlay, has expressed satisfaction with the integration of Mohammed Kudus into the club.

Since his summer transfer from Ajax in August, the 23-year-old midfielder has garnered significant praise, even though he has yet to start a Premier League match.

Following his fourth substitute appearance in the Premier League on Saturday, McKinlay emphasized Kudus’ readiness to contribute as a substitute.

He highlighted Kudus’ seamless adaptation to the club environment, emphasizing the midfielder’s evident talent and dedication to his football career.

McKinlay acknowledged the challenges of the Premier League, describing it as a highly competitive and demanding league.

He noted that while Kudus has the potential to excel, it may take time for him to fully acclimate to the English top-flight.

Mohammed Kudus has made a total of six appearances for West Ham United, featuring as a substitute in four Premier League matches, as well as starting in fixtures in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup.
