Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is calling for one final push from his team as they prepare to take on FC Samartex in the last game of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
With the curtain set to fall on a campaign marked by mixed results, Ouattara is hopeful of steering the Phobians to a top-four finish ; a realistic target following their 2-0 victory over Legon Cities on Sunday.
That hard-earned win was a testament to the team’s growing resilience under his leadership, as Hearts dug deep to secure all three points in the penultimate round.
“We have another match next Sunday against Samartex. It will be one of the toughest matches. We will need the points to assess and project ourselves into the next season,” Ouattara told reporters.
Despite early-season turbulence, Hearts of Oak have regained some stability and confidence in recent weeks, setting the stage for a meaningful end to the campaign.
Victory on Sunday would not only boost morale heading into the offseason but also offer a platform for strategic planning as the club looks to bounce back stronger in the 2025/26 season.
