Medeama SC head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, has set his sights on winning the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title, determined to build a formidable team that will compete at the highest level.
After guiding the team to an 8th-place finish last season, Tanko expressed his disappointment in missing out on the top four but emphasized that his mission is about long-term success and stability.
“We’re not coming back next season to chase the top four — we’re coming for the title,” Tanko declared while speaking to Graphic Sports.
“We have a good group of players, but we need to add more quality. A centre-back and a striker are definitely priorities,” he added.
Tanko aims to make targeted signings and utilize the talented young players already at the club to inject fresh belief and drive into the Medeama project. “I’m here to build something strong and lasting. Next season is not just about improvement — it’s about going for the ultimate prize,” he emphasized.
