We want to secure maximum points in remaining GPL games – Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Frank Amankwah

Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Frank Amankwah says he and his teammates are determined to secure maximum points in the remaining Ghana Premier League games.

The Miners has been inconsistent this season, winning seven games, drawing eight and losing eight after 23 matches so far this season.

With eleven games to end the season, Frank Amankwah, who has been impressive for Goldstars has targeted maximum points in the remaining games to aid the club’s survival in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Goldstars are 13th on the Premier League standings with 29 points.

“We want to secure maximum points in remaining Ghana Premier League games. We are no content with our position on the league standings so we have to do everything possible to change the situation”

“Our aim is to finish among the first ten teams at the end of the season. We placed 5th last season, so we don’t have drop deep this season” he said.

The 29-year-old has made eleven appearances in the Premier League for Goldstars, scoring one goal in the process.
