Mohammed Kudus says the Black Stars are determined to put up a better showing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana shocked the rest of the globe in 2010, reaching the quarter-finals and taking Uruguay all the way to penalties.
The vibe has been gloomy recently following the recent performances of the Ghana national team.
It got worse after the nation’s uninspiring outputs against Brazil, having suffered a 3-0 defeat and a solitary win over Nicaragua.
The Ajax midfielder is highly optimistic that the West African nation will leave no stone unturned at the World Cup which starts later this month.
“We want to do well in World Cup,” Kudus told TV3.
“It feels really good to be honest [going to my first world cup] but it will be better with better performances and leaving a mark over there [in Qatar].
“The goal is not just to play at the World Cup. The goal is to leave a mark as a nation”
Ghana is housed in group H with Portugal Uruguay and South Korea
