Black Galaxies goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim says that their target is to win the Championship of Africa nations (CHAN) trophy in January 2023.
The home-based squad have been resumed training with their respective clubs after two weeks of camping in Prampram for the continental competition.
Annor Walker is expected to assemble the playing-body in a couple of weeks as they are set to travel to Europe for further preparation ahead of the CHAN which gets under on the 13th of next month in Algeria.
Ghana came close to winning the competition in 2014 but lost to Lybia on penalties.
“I think we can do our best in the up coming CHAN tournament in Algeria,”Danlad Ibrahim told kickoffghana.com
“As a Goalkeeper you need to have the target to go beyond the group stages, as a goalkeeper I have to help my team secure qualification from the group stages.”
“We will make sure we hit our target which is to win the trophy in Algeria.” Danlad emphatically concluded.
The Black Galaxies are in group C alongside Morocco, Madagascar and Sudan.
