We are going to work hard – Hohoe United defender pledges ahead of Ghana Premier League

Hohoe United defender Paul Kwame is aware of the challenges that lie ahead as his team prepares for a return to the Ghana Premier League.

Having previously played in the top flight with Liberty Professionals, which was later rebranded as Hohoe United after relegation in the 2020/21 season, Kwame knows what it takes to succeed.

“Division One and the Premier League is far different,” Kwame told 3Sports. “I think now we are going to work hard and give our maximum best.”

He emphasized the need for focus and concentration, saying, “That side is more experienced. It needs more focus and concentration, so we just have to do it better and focus on what we have to do.”

Hohoe United finished top of Division One Zone Three and will be crowned champions after their match against Home Stars on Saturday.

Alongside Swedru All Blacks and Techiman Eleven Wonders, they have earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League.

With Kwame’s experience, Hohoe United will look to make a strong impact in the top flight.
