Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko is optimistic his side can deliver a strong performance when they travel to Kpando to face Heart of Lions in their next Ghana Premier League fixture.
The Yellow and Mauve head into the encounter in good form, recording two wins and three draws in their last five matches — a run that has boosted confidence within the camp ahead of what is expected to be a difficult away assignment.
Medeama have intensified preparations this week, focusing on tactical shape, ball circulation and defensive compactness, fully aware that the Kpando Stadium remains one of the toughest venues in the league.
“We are preparing like any other game and we hope that we are going to have a very good game at Kpando,” Tanko told Medeama TV.
“We don’t want to lose. We are going there to pick a point or pick all three points if possible,” he added.
The Ghana Premier League clash between Heart of Lions and Medeama SC is scheduled for Friday, December 27, with kick-off set for 3:30 pm at the Kpando Stadium.
