Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos is urging his team to step up their game, warning that Ivory Coast or Cameroon will be tough opponents in their next match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Broos reflected on his team’s performances, emphasizing the need for improvement.

“We have Ivory Coast or Cameroon in the next game, we will have to play better than that against them,” Broos said, highlighting the challenges ahead.

The Belgian coach has been vocal about his team’s inconsistent performances, citing a lack of aggression and composure in recent matches.

Broos’ comments come after Bafana Bafana secured a 3-2 win over Zimbabwe, booking their spot in the knockout stages of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Despite the win, Broos was unimpressed with his team’s display, pointing out areas that need improvement.
