Ghana beat Ivory Coast 3-2 in the WAFU Zone B U-17 qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Friday to win bronze.
Razak Salifu late goal handed Black Starlets the victory against their Ivorian counterparts.
Yan Diamante converted a spot kick to break the deadlock in the 6th minute for Ivory Coast following a late tackle on their defender.
Ghana responded three minutes later which saw the game on level terms through a penalty kick by striker Abdul Adam but the Black Starlets were pegged back again through Bouba Meite in the 14th minute.
After recess, Ghana fought back to score twice through Richard Apokum in the 58th minute and a late goal from Abdul Razak Salifu in the 92nd minute to make it 3-2 for the Black Starlets.
Later in the evening, Nigeria will clash with Burkina for the ultimate as the two finalists will represent West Africa in the 2023 U-17 African Cup of Nations in Algeria.
