Black Queens head caoch Kim Lars Bjorkegren has lauded Algeria as the most disciplined team at the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, yet urges his team to stay fearless in their upcoming quarter-final showdown.
Ghana will face off against the North Africans on July 19, vying for a spot in the semifinals for the first time since 2016.Algeria remains undefeated and has not let in a single goal throughout the tournament so far.“The Algeria team is very organized, maybe potentially the best organized team in this tournament. It shows that the coach is doing a good job there and it’s going to be difficult game for us for sure.”
“We need to do our things, we need to keep building. We are pretty new as a team, we have many young players. I’ve only been in the team for five months so we can see that we’re doing better and better, more or less for each game” he added.
