Owner and bankroller of All Stars Kwesi Nyantakyi says it is a pleasant surprise his outfit emerged winners of the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.
All Stars were crowned champions for the first time in their history last Sunday after edging stiff competitors Aduana Stars.
“Since we came into the league in 2007, we have been more of a mid-table team but we had hopes of winning the title someday and God has granted our wishes,” he said
“It’s a big and pleasant surprise to the Wa All Stars family.”
Wa All Stars will represent Ghana in next year’s Africa Champions League by virtue of winning the league title.
