W.O. Tandoh unfazed by home ban, says ‘Aduana will win the league even if we play in bathrooms’

Despite being banned from playing at their home venue, Aduana Stars’ assistant coach W.O. Tandoh remains confident that the team can still win the 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League.

The ban on the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa was imposed after Aduana Stars’ fans reportedly attacked Tamale City’s team bus following their Match week 25 encounter.

The Ogya boys have been the most dominant team in the ongoing campaign and are hoping to win the title for the first time since 2017.

Tandoh insists the home ban is just a minor setback in their quest for the trophy and even joked that they would win the league even if they had to play in a bathroom.

“Even if we play our games at their bathrooms, Aduana Stars will win the league. Again, if they like they should let us play at the guest house we will also win the FA Cup,” he stated”

Aduana Stars remain in first place with 44 points, three points clear of second-placed Bechem United with nine matches left to play.
