Volta Regional Football Association unveils 2024/25 season calendar

The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has finally unveiled its calendar for the 2024/25 season.

The season promises to be an exciting one, with a lineup of events that will keep football enthusiasts on the edge of their seats.

It all begins on October 3, 2024, with the Congress, where stakeholders will gather to discuss the upcoming season and set the tone for the year ahead.

This will be followed by a Workshop on November 1, 2024, where teams, officials, and stakeholders will come together to prepare for the season.

The Division Two League, the region’s highest league, will kick off on the weekend of October 9, 2024, promising thrilling matches and intense competition.

As the league progresses, the preliminary stages of the Regional FA Cup competition will commence after Match Day 4, adding an extra layer of excitement to the season.

But that’s not all – December 1, 2024, will see the start of the Regional Women’s Division One League and the District FA Leagues, providing a platform for women’s football to shine and for local talent to emerge.

With the VRFA Executive Council’s approval, this calendar marks the beginning of an unforgettable season for football in the Volta Region.
