Vision FC makes it a rotten day for Akatsi All Stars in a 6-goal thriller to maintain their stay on top of the table in Zone Three. Roland Ashia Twumasi’s goal in the 33rd minute gave the host the lead before the break. Frank Abora Duku added the second goal in the 68th minute as Anthony Gati scored in the 74th minute to keep the visitors in the game but Gideon Offei and Nana Yaw Osei scored in the 87th and 90th minutes before Habib Ganiyu netted from the spot to put the icing on the cake for Vision FC as they romped to a 5-1 win.
Elsewhere, Okwawu United beat Koforidua Sempe Fi 3-2 to move up to 4th in the League table in Zone Three. Issac Adjei Adjetey scored the first goal for Koforidua Semper Fi in the 6th minute as Solomon Agyei got the equalizer for Okwawu United in injury time before the break. Ebenezer Yeboah put Sempe FI back in the lead in the 55th minute through a beautifully connected spot kick but Adams Inusah scored again netted in the 71st minute to get his side back into the game with hope of salvaging a point from their host. With three minutes of play remaining, Samuel Obeng scored an absolute stunner inside 87 minutes to win the day for Okwawu United.
Still in the Zone, Hohoe United extended their unbeaten run to three 3 games in the Access Bank Division One League after beating Home Stars 2-0 at home. Zone three top scorer Faruk Mohammed (12 goals) opened the scoring in the 69th minute from a spot kick before William Oduro added the second goal in the 76th minute for Hohoe United.
